A lovely collaboration project with one of my beloved retailer clients - NORR Kyoto.
Located in Kyoto, Japan - NORR Kyoto was found by Ms. Yoko Ishikawa, who did her university studies in UK and Sweden for several years, her idea is introducing Nordic/ European culture and stories to Japan. This beautiful select shop features a numerous of Scandinavian and Western European independent Craftsmen and Designers's works. Yoko also curates a wide range of books about Scandinavia, she also precisely hand picked vintage Jewellery, accessory and houseware from the above regions.

Our connection started in Early Summer 2019 when Yoko discovered my Whale Keychains - which was inspired by my experience in Norway. In fact we're both East Asian who lived in Scandinavia in our earlier time :), that common ground led us to work together. I was so grateful NORR Kyoto was the first retail store who introduce my works to the audiences in Japan. Since then we have been working together closely and in 2021 we created this small collaboration - we developed this 2 wallets in 4 unique colour combinations of leather and zipper.
